Journal of Constructive Theology: Gender Religion and Theology in Africa
The Journal of Constructive Theology combines the disciplines of gender, religion
and theology within the African context. Its uniqueness lies in its foregrounding
of the gendered interchange that exists within cultures, religions, their sacred
writings and oral stories, all of which shape the power relations extant between
the women and men of the African continent. In order to achieve this goal, the
Journal promotes and commissions the contributions and academic research of African
women, and actively mentors emerging academics and new writers. To our knowledge,
no other publication achieves this.
